Frequently Asked Questions

  • There aren’t fitness requirements to get coaching although consider that during a session you will be asked to try and perform a skill/s several times until we are happy with the results. This means that you won’t be riding up and down the hills all the time, we’ll stop at a specific section of the trail, break down a skill, practise it and eventually move on to the next skill.

  • 1 to 1s, Private Groups sessions and most Mountain Bike courses last 3hrs.

    • The Enduro Race Craft Course is the longest, 4hrs.

  • Each course has a description that will serve as a guide to decide which course will suit you although, if you’re still not sure, feel free to get in touch with me via email and I will help you make the right decision.

  • That would be ideal, although if you want to improve your general riding skills I will be able to assess your ability level on the day and provide a session that covers the aspects of Mountain Biking that will benefit your current level.

  • Apart form a bike in good working order, I would recommend that you plan in advanced the appropriate clothing you will need for the day (weather depending) including bringing the spares/tools you would take on a normal ride. Bring something to eat and drink such as water and a cereal bar or snack to keep you fueled during the ride.

  • Unfortunate events can happen while riding bikes. I carry a set of tools to fix most common issues on the trail side. If the damage goes beyond what we can fix we will have to walk/cycle back to the meeting point and call it a day. At that stage the coaching session can’t be rescheduled or refunded.

  • Get in touch via email and I will happily answer any queries.
