Build up your confidence and technique to ride drop offs safely.

Minimum experienced required:

  1. Be able to ride the black trails at a trail centre or comfortably ride natural trails.

What to bring:

  1. A certified full face helmet, gloves and knee pads, mandatory.

  2. A bike in good working order.

  3. Water and food (energy bar, sandwich, fruit, etc).

Is this course for me?:

This course is designed for riders just starting to ride drop offs in a trail centre environment or in natural trails who would like to gain confidence and get rid of bad habits.

At the start of the course we are going to break down the motion of riding a drop off in small steps and we are going to put it into practice on a small feature. After that, we are going to ride a few trails and stop in different sections to practice on different size drop offs.

At the end of the course you will go home with much more confidence when riding drop offs and you will be able to break down the correct motion so you can keep practising and improving on your free time!

Location: Ballinastoe MTB Trails.
