Jump with Confidence - 29th of June (BALLINASTOE)
Jumping with Confidence – Build Technique, Lose the Fear
This session is designed to help you develop safe, solid jumping skills — whether you're just starting out or looking to boost your confidence and iron out bad habits.
What You’ll Learn:
We'll break the motion of jumping into simple, manageable steps and put it into practice on a small ramp to build control and understanding.
Then we’ll head onto the trails at Ballinastoe to apply your skills on table-top jumps — one at a time, with focused feedback and safe progression.
No full trail runs — this session is all about quality reps, not speed laps.
By the end of the session, you'll go home with more confidence, better technique, and a clear plan for how to keep progressing on your own.
What to bring:
A certified full face helmet, gloves and knee pads, mandatory.
A bike in good working order.
Water and food (energy bar, sandwich, fruit, etc).
Is this course for me?:
Yes – if you're starting to hit jumps or you've tried them but still feel uncertain or out of control.
This course is perfect for riders who:
Are new to jumping and want to learn the right way from the start
Have some jumping experience but want to build confidence, control, and consistency
Feel stuck with bad habits or fear and want to break through that barrier
I will guide you through the fundamentals step-by-step, focusing on solid technique and safe progression — no pressure, no rush. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to jump properly, plus the confidence to keep practising and progressing on your own.
Location: Ballinastoe MTB Trails.
Time: 9:00 to 12:00.
Minimum age: 13
